How to wear a trench, five ways
Belted, open, over a hoodie or a silk dress: the trench goes with everything, if you know a few tricks.
The trench is the most useful coat there is: light enough for spring, warm enough with a jumper underneath, smart enough for the office.

- Belted at the back, open at the front
- Over a hoodie and jeans
- Over a slip dress and boots
- Collar up, sleeves rolled
- Knotted, never buckled
